Julián Alzate Marulanda is a highly experienced Colombian lawyer with approximately 13 years of dedicated legal practice since his graduation from Universidad Libre Seccional Pereira in 2012. He further enhanced his legal knowledge by obtaining a postgraduate degree focusing on Commercial and Financial Legislation from Universidad de Caldas in 2016.

Currently serving as a Senior Lawyer at Duport Abogados S.A.S., Mr. Alzate brings a wealth of prior experience to his role. Most notably, he dedicated 12 years as the Legal Coordinator for Cupula S.A., a long-term position highlighting his significant capabilities in managing comprehensive legal affairs for an organization.

Mr. Alzate demonstrates a strong commitment to ongoing professional growth and staying current with legal and professional standards. He recently achieved certification as a Conciliator in Law through the Pereira Chamber of Commerce (2024) and completed an Update Program in Corporate Law at the respected Universidad del Rosario (2024). His additional qualifications include training in Corporate and Business Coaching (2021) and certifications as an Internal Auditor, with advanced training, in Quality Management Systems (2011).
